Bleeding is the
#1 preventable cause of death.

In critical moments, time saves lives.

응급의 순간, 시간은 생명입니다.

We restore the time information missing from bleeding control - so more lives and limbs can be saved, and public emergency care can move forward.

From the moment a tourniquet goes on, time decides survival. Medical Chrono builds TimeAid TQ, which shows elapsed time through color and touch - with no power at all.

Why Bleeding Control

Bleeding is the fastest - and most preventable - death.

How to Control Bleeding

Anyone can control bleeding - immediately.

Millions of people worldwide trained through STOP THE BLEED® follow one simple idea - Alert, find the Bleeding, and Compress. The tourniquet is the key tool of that final step.

A

Alert

Call 911 immediately and ask those nearby for help.

B

Bleeding

Quickly find the life-threatening source of bleeding.

C

Compress

Stop it with direct pressure, hemostatic gauze, and a tourniquet.

The Missing Link

It can be reversed - but only when you know the elapsed time.

TCCC and DD Form 1380 require recording tourniquet application time - the premise for reassessment. Around two hours, conversion should be considered; beyond about six hours, release can be fatal and immediate evacuation is the priority. Yet in darkness, with gloves, under fire, that record is lost while evacuation stretches to 6-7 hours. Without time, the right next step cannot be chosen.

Solution · TimeAid TQ

Patent Pending (KR)

No power. Elapsed time, at a glance.

TimeAid TQ attaches to an existing tourniquet and shows how much time has passed through color and touch - with no power, battery, or electronics.

C

Clip

Clip it directly onto an existing tourniquet.

P

Press

Press once to activate when the tourniquet is applied.

R

Read

Read the elapsed time by color and touch - even at night or with gloves.

Vision · Public Good

Technology to the world. Standards home to Korea.

TimeAid starts where bleeding control needs elapsed time most urgently - then carries that same public purpose into education, kits, and national safety infrastructure. Like AEDs, bleeding-control readiness should become ordinary public protection.

Global standards, local impact

We align with proven STOP THE BLEED® and TCCC time-recording principles - and work to bring that standard into Korean education, kits, and public policy.

Education × equipment

Training alone is not enough. We pursue a K-STB path that pairs bleeding-control education with the equipment people need when seconds matter.

From field validation to public infrastructure

Capability proven in demanding environments should return to citizens - as trusted kits, clearer protocols, and safer emergency response.

Designed for everyone

Power-free, multi-sensory indication supports night, gloves, and low-vision conditions - so time information reaches more people, not fewer.

Credibility

An idea already in motion.

We are building with clinical advisors, academic partners, and institutions that share the mission of safer bleeding control - while protecting proprietary technology still under patent review.

Defense startup recognition

Winner of the ROK Air Force startup competition, and advancing through the national Defense Startup Contest.

Clinical & academic collaboration

Engaging trauma and emergency clinicians, regional medical centers, and relevant societies for validation and standards dialogue.

Partners across the ecosystem

Open to manufacturers, government and EMS, hospitals and researchers, NGOs, and mission-aligned supporters.

Partnership

Advancing emergency care together.

No single organization can close the gap between injury and survival alone. Medical Chrono is openly seeking partners who share our mission - restoring time information to bleeding control and advancing emergency medicine. Whether you build products, deliver care, set standards, or fund innovation, there is a place for you in this work.
